: Three patients with STAT3 gene mutations and nine age- and sex-matched healthy controls were enrolled in the study from Tongji Hospital and Wuhan Children’s Hospital. The parents of all participants provided written informed consent, approved by the ethics committee of Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Ethical approval number: 2025-S108). The animals used in our experiments were approved by the Animal Ethics Committee of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, approval number is 4783.
