: The survey data used in this study were collected as part of a project approved by the Population Council’s Institutional Review Board in 2021 (Protocol #920). Verbal informed consent was obtained from all survey participants. The qualitative component of this study was approved by the Ethics and Research Committees of the National Institute of Public Health in Mexico (Protocol #1861) and by the University of California, Berkeley’s Committee for the Protection of Human Subjects (CPHS #2023-04-16299).
