: This study was conducted in accordance with the ethical principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki. All participants provided informed consent prior to data collection, and their confidentiality and autonomy were respected throughout the research process. Ethical approval was granted by the South African Medical Research Council Human Research Ethics Committee (EC003-2/2022) and the University’s Research Ethics Committee (BREC/00004253/2022). Voluntary informed and written consent was gained after an explanation of the study and ample time for participants to ask questions. The registrar of the university gave permission to conduct research with students. The focus-group discussions were carried out in accordance with the relevant guidelines and regulations stipulated by the ethics committees that granted approvals to conduct the study.
