: This study did not involve human participants, biological samples, or personal data, as it focused solely on the collection and analysis of deposited indoor, outdoor and junction deposited dust within hospital environments. Nonetheless, ethical and administrative approvals were obtained to access healthcare facilities. Primary approval was granted by the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH) Health Research Ethics Committee (Ref: ABUTHZ/HREC/F79/2024; NHREC-registered IRB00014024), approved on 19 June 2024 and valid until 19 June 2025. Additional site-specific approvals were obtained from the Kaduna State Ministry of Health HREC (approved 27 May 2024; valid until 27 May 2025), the Federal Teaching Hospital Katsina HREC (approved 26 April 2024; valid until 25 April 2025), and the Rivers State HREC (approved 20 May 2024). All approvals covered protocol review and authorization for environmental sampling only, were obtained prior to data collection, and complied with national ethical guidelines.
