: CEA, Fraunhofer IME, gaiac, and WUR conduct micro- and mesocosm studies in the context of chemical regulations on behalf of industry and within public research projects. Bayer conducts mesocosm tests on its own an in cooperation with external test sites in the context of aquatic risk assessments for plant protection products. UH, MB, NT, IR, TS and KPE (or their institutions) were involved in the seven recent studies analysed in more detail by Reiber et al. (2022).
