Ethics approval and consent to participate

: KARE and HEXA dataset are a part of Korean Genome Epidemiology Study (KoGES). In this study, the exome sequencing data from 1037 samples of KARE study and the exome chip data from 3445 samples of HEXA study were used. KARE dataset was used under the partnership of T2D-GENES. All participants of KARE and HEXA studies provided written informed consent. The study using KARE and HEXA samples was approved by two independent institutional review boards at Seoul National University.
