: In the present study, collection of samples was performed within a long-term investigation project on Amphibians and Reptiles, and all samples were from individuals that died and were found during field work. This investigation project and the sample collection were approved by the Ministry of Environmental Protection. Our experimental procedures complied with the current laws on animal welfare and research in China, and were specifically approved by the Life Sciences Research Ethics Committee of Kunming Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
