Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The tissue collection process, cell culture, and RNA isolation were conducted according to the principles expressed in the Declaration of Helsinki and approved by the Institutional Review of Board Involving Human Subjects research at Kitasato University (approval number: B12–53). RNA-seq process and accessing the RNA-seq data in this study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee at Tokyo Women’s Medical University (approval number: 4155). Written informed consent for the donation of their bone tissues and their subsequent samples used in this study was obtained from all patients prior to surgery. In the case of patients younger than 16 years old, both the patients and their parents (or legal guardians) provided written informed consent to participate in this study.
