: This study was carried out according to the Regulations for the Administration of Affairs Concerning Experimental Animals published by the Ministry of Science and Technology, China in 2004 and approved by the Animal Care and Use Committee from the Dairy Cattle Research Center, Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Shandong, P. R. China. The blood and milk sample collections of the experimental cows were permitted by the cattle owners in verbal form. Because these experimental cows were not slaughtered after the procedure and continued to be used for production. The procedure was also approved by the Animal Care and Use Committee from the Dairy Cattle Research Center, Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
