This cultivar was selected by researchers at Qingdao Agricultural University (Qingdao, China), the Qingdao Seed Station, and Dezhou Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Additionally, it was approved by the Shandong Variety Examination and Approval Committee in 2015(deposition number: 2015–057-1).
