: All the ovarian samples were collected from the euthanized yak within 1 h. All the procedures involving animals were performed according to the guidelines of the China Council on Animal Care and the Ministry of Agriculture of the People’s Republic of China. The Animal Care and Use Committee of the Lanzhou Institute of Husbandry and Pharmaceutical Sciences Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences approved all yak handling procedures (Permit No: SYXK-2014–0002).
