: All experimental procedures were performed in accordance with the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals (Ministry of Science and Technology of China, 2006) (No. YZ8201134) and approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of Nanjing Agriculture University (Nanjing, China). The <i>Coilia nasus </i>were anesthetized with 70 mg /L MS-222 (Greenhengxing, Beijing, China). The muscles, eyes, brains, gills, and livers were extracted based on the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals (Ministry of Science and Technology of China, 2006) (No. YZ8201134).
