: The <i>Liriodendron</i> hybrid seedlings regenerated from somatic embryos were grown and collected in the greenhouse in Nanjing Forestry University (Nanjing, Jiangsu province, China). All samples from the cultivar were adopted for all experiments.These plant materials do not include any wild species at risk of extinction.No specific permits are required for sample collection in this study. We comply with the IUCN Policy Statement on Research Involving Species at Risk of Extinction and the Convention on the Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.
