: The cultivar ‘Jinling Huangfeng’ and ‘Jinling Danfeng’ involved in this study were independently cultivated by our group (Acer Research Center, Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences), and approved by National Forestry and Grassland Administration of China with an accession number 20130033 and 20180156. The plants materials were all artificially planted in the experimental base owned and the experimental research comply with relevant institutional, national, and international guidelines and legislation. The plants materials we used were neither wild nor endangered.
