: These plant materials, <i>G. barbadense</i>, <i>G. hirsutum</i>, <i>G. arboreum</i>, and <i>G. raimondii</i>, are widely sowed in China. The cotton cultivar (<i>G. hirsutum</i>; TM-1) in this study is from our laboratory.All experimental research in this study were performed under the permission of relevant institutional, national, and international guidelines and legislation. We declared that wild plants have not been collected/used in the study.
