Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The University of Western Australia Human Research Ethics Committee gave ethics approvals for the Kidskin Study and KYAMS (RA/4/1/6807). Children were only enrolled in the Kidskin Study (specifically, the 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001 and 2005 follow-ups) if written informed consent was obtained from both the child and at least one parent or legal guardian. Participants provided written informed consent prior to participating in the KYAMS.
