Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The PRIDE programme of research has received Health Research Authority approval and NHS ethical approval as part of the feasibility trials intervention ethics application (NHS East Midlands – Nottingham 1 Research Ethics committee, REC reference number: 16/EM/0044). For Stage 1, participants provided written informed consent for audio-recording of intervention sessions as part of their written consent to take part in the PRIDE intervention. For Stage 2 of this study, all providers, people with dementia and supporters gave written informed consent to take part in the interviews.
