: The neutrophil study was approved by the National Health Group Domain Specific Review Board (Study reference number: 2014/01220), which gave permission to link the NUH Breast Cancer Registry with the laboratory test data in the NUH Electronic Medical Records. The approval for this study allows research on de-identified restricted-access data without consent from individual patients. The principal investigator of this study is A/Prof Mikael Hartman. The blood glucose study was approved by the National Health Group Domain Specific Review Board (Study reference number: 2014/00034), which gave permission to use the NUH Electronic Medical Records for research purposes.
