: Ethical approval for Phase 1, evidence synthesis, was not required. Ethical approval for Phase 2 and Phase 3 was granted by the lead author’s University Research Ethics Committee (School of Nursing and Midwifery, Trinity College Dublin, Research Ethics Committee, Ref: 14<sup>th</sup> May 2019). Participants in the Phase 2 survey, after having an opportunity to review the study information, provided informed consent via an <i>‘I agree to take part’</i> tab on the survey. Once ticked, participants gained access to the survey items. Members of the TCIDC voluntarily agreed to take part in the intervention development workshops, having been informed of their purposes and provided informed consent to have discussions recorded for recall purposes only. Trial recruiters voluntarily agreed to take part in the acceptability assessment training. Informed consent was obtained by virtue of their agreement (confirmed via email) having been informed of the purpose, duration, and date of the workshops.
