: MAA is a community pharmacist with an interest in nutrition and also works as an Honorary Associate Researcher at the Exeter Medical School. She completed this study for her MSc in Clinical Pharmacy at De Montfort University. JS is Associate Professor in Postgraduate Clinical Education and acted as supervisor for MAA at De Montfort University. She is a pharmacist with research interests in patient centered care and public health. JMV is an academic GP and Professor in Health Services and Policy Research. His research interest is in patient centred care within the context of clinical care and health policy.
: The study was approved by the NHS Research Ethics Committee (West Midlands – Black Country Research Ethics Committee) (REC reference: 15/WM/0400), and by the Faculty Research Ethics Committee at De Montfort University in Leicester (Ref: 1620). A sponsorship letter was provided by the De Montfort University. In addition, the NHS Research and Development Governance Assurance letter was obtained.A written informed Consent Form was obtained from all participants, who wished to continue in the study, prior to the focus group. The participation in this project was entirely voluntary and participants were informed that they could withdraw from the study at any point without having to provide a reason.
: Within the Consent Form participants agreed for non-identifiable quotes from focus groups to be published in articles or used in conference presentations.
