: All patients and GPs provided written consent to participate in the study. All study data were pseudo-anonymised using a de-identifier number and the investigators were blinded to the identity of participating patients. In addition, the GPs were blinded to the results, as they could not access the completed patient questionnaires on the tablets. The study was conducted in accordance with the ethical principles for medical research described in the declaration of Helsinki. The study was approved by the Danish data protection agency (reference number 2017–41-5273) and the Committee of Multipractice Studies in General Practice (MPU-20–2016). The study was also notified to the Regional Committee on Health Research Ethics, who responded that approval was not needed according to Danish legislation.
