: "The research team required initial approval by the appropriate department in the Jeddah city Research and Studies Department- Jeddah Health Affairs to access PCCs and conduct the 2019 survey, in addition to conducting future work to test an intervention program for patients with obesity at PCCs. Accordingly, the research committee reviewed the study protocol, ethics and questionnaire. As a result, it released an Initial Approval for this research numbered "01025" on 20 Jan 2019, which allowed researchers to access PCCs and to conduct the survey based on the research control framework for health care.The study received the final ethical approval of the IRB from the local institutional review board in Jeddah health affairs ‘’The Local Committee for Research Ethics – Jeddah’’ via review according to KACST GCP regulations (IRB registration number A00691) on 12/09/20222.Agreement for participation was obtained from all participants, who were "primary care provider heads, nutrition services heads and RDs at the visited PCCs. All participants signed an informed consent form before enrolling in the study. All methods were carried out following relevant guidelines and regulations.
