: The patient and provider focus groups used to develop the PETS-Now tool and review the tool prototype were approved as a minimal risk study by the Hennepin Healthcare IRB under HSR #17-4314 and the Mayo Clinic IRB under #16-010356. Before beginning the groups, study coordinators explained the study procedures to patients and providers who provided their written informed consent to participate. The pilot test of the PETS-Now tool was approved as a minimal risk study by the Hennepin Healthcare IRB under HSR #18-4625 and the Mayo Clinic IRB under #18-006429.
