: Institutional ethics approval was granted from the Johns Hopkins University Institutional Review Board (IRB NA_00067873). Informed consent was obtained from all caregivers and persons living with dementia. For persons living with dementia who were unable to provide written consent, proxy consent for study participation from the participating caregiver was obtained and verbal assent from the person was obtained at each contact. All methods were performed in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
