Ethics approval and consent to participate
: This study was approved by the Medical Chamber of Baden-Württemberg (Ethik-Kommission der Landesärztekammer Baden-Württemberg) with number F-2018-090 on October 8, 2018, by the Ethics Committee of the University of Ulm with the number 53/19 on March 25, 2019 and the Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Medicine of the Eberhard-Karls University and University Hospital Tübingen (242-2019B02). All required modifications to the protocol were communicated and consented with the members of the steering committee. Study personnel of the local community hospital will inform eligible patients about the study and obtain written consent from patients during the surgical consultation session. In case patients are incapable of consent the subject’s legally acceptable representative will be contacted. For participation in focus groups, written consent will be obtained prior to the focus group by the moderator of the focus group (researcher from the Institute of General Medicine and Interdisciplinary Care, University Hospital Tübingen).
