: PCR testing and accompanying clinical data collection were performed after receiving permission and instruction from the Heath and Welfare Center in Fukuoka City. All data covered were treated as survey data based on the perspective of public health practice, for the purpose of controlling the outbreak promptly. Serological testing and accompanying clinical data collection was added to the survey from the middle of the outbreak, and included consent obtained from individuals in the facility or family members and approval by the Hara-doi Ethics Committee of Hara-doi Hospital.
