: With the exception of age, gender and minimal clinical data such as date of onset, no personal data, as defined by the Irish Health Research Regulations, were used for this research. The employed anonymisation protocol is considered equivalent to irreversible anonymisation, appropriate for release to academic researchers, as approved by the Irish Data Protection Commissioner, and as such, informed consent was considered unnecessary, as set out in the Research Ethical Approval documents provided by the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, comprising both data usage and epidemiological methodologies employed.
