All patients included in the study completed Family Health Centers of San Diego’s Broad Consent, which includes a specific authorization for the use of de-identified health information for population health and quality improvement studies. Additional written consent will be obtained from patients enrolled in the study to be tested for HCV. Furthermore, verbal consent will be obtained from patients for group assignment.
