: This retrospective study was conducted with the approval and authorization of the Ministry of Health through the National Program for Neglected Tropical Diseases. Data used for this study was collected as part of the routine leprosy control programme. Access to the database was authorized by the Ministry of Health through the National Program for Neglected Tropical Diseases and all data analysed were anonymized. Ethical clearance for this study was also obtained from the Bioethics Committee of the Togo’s Ministry of Health (No 025/2022/CBRS).
