: PMP is Chief, Renal Section at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System and Professor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and was the Principal Investigator and Study Chair of the VA/NIH Acute Renal Failure Trial Network (ATN) study.
: The Human Rights Committee at the West Haven VA Cooperative Studies Program (CSP) Coordinating Center and the institutional review boards at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (chair’s office) and at each of the participating study sites approved the ATN Study and authorized data analyses performed by study investigators.
