Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The data presented and analysed in this work was collected as part of routine annual transplant audit with implicit consent by patients for anonymised data to be used for audit and research (registered with audit department of Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS trust). Due to retrospective nature of the study consent was not needed. The need for ethics approval was waived by the national health research authority (HRA, UK). The study was registered with trust (Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust) research and development board and approved by HRA, England (REC ref.: 17/LO/1352, IRAS Id-270665). No organs/tissues were obtained from the prisoners.
