The outdated guidelines (AWMF 030/073) were stating: “An endovascular therapy of ischemic deficit due to vasospasm may be considered and carried. Randomized trials are missing and therefore there is no general recommendation possible”.The data presented in this manuscript have not be derived from a study protocol. There were generated through clinical routine and represent anecdotal observations.All patients (or their legal representatives) provided written consent to the anonymized analysis and publication of the data.The informed consent was obtained from all subjects and/or their legal guardian(s).
