Ethics approval and consent to participate

: The Ethical Committee of Ghana Health Service and the Institutional Review Board of DHRC approved the data collection techniques and quality assurance of DHDSS. The management of DHRC authorized the use of the DHDSS data for this study on a condition that the identity of the participants remains anonymous.At the beginning of every update-round of the DHDSS data collection, DHRC sought verbal consent from household heads and participating individuals. All households and individuals who declined to participate were excluded.
