Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Ethical clearance was obtained from the Ethical Review Committee of Arba Minch University, College of Medicine and Health Sciences. An official letter was written by the College of Medicine and Health Sciences to the respective health institutions. All the study participants were informed about the objectives and importance of the study. Also, the study participants were informed about the confidentiality of the information they provide. Written informed consent was taken from every study participant (all participants were 18 years old or more); the consent was read by the interviewers to those women who were not able to read. The respondents had full right to refuse participation or terminate their involvement at any point during the interview.
