Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The study was reported to The Danish Data Protection Agency Id. No: 514–0289/19–3000. The study was also submitted to The Danish Scientific Ethics Committee for ethical approval. This committee ruled that according to national legislation on the ethic approval of health science research [CitationRef removed], permission from The Danish Scientific Ethics Committee was not required. All study participants were informed verbally and in writing about the overall aim of the study before giving consent to participate. Participation in the interviews was voluntary and as a participant group, midwives were not considered to be compromised in any way. Thus, they gave verbal consent to participate in the study as this method was approved by The Danish Data Protection Agency [CitationRef removed].
