: This study was conducted after the confirmation of national and international ethical guidelines for biomedical research involving human subjects [CitationRef removed]. Before the collection of data, ethical clearance was sought from the institutional review board (IRB) of the University of Gondar. Then permission letter was received from regional, zonal and district health offices. Study participants were informed about how they were included in the study, the purpose of the study, their rights to withdraw or continue and potential benefits and harms of the study. Study participants were also told that the information they provide will be used only for the research purpose and will not be disclosed to anyone including during publication. A written informed consent form was prepared and attached together with each questionnaire to obtain approval from each study participant by signature. After completing the interviews, study participants were acknowledged for their cooperation.
