: The original tool’s owner granted written consent to translate the tools into Kiswahili and use them in Tanzania. We obtained permission to conduct the study from the selected health facilities. At the start of the interview, the women were informed of the study’s purpose, scope, and importance. They were also informed of their rights to confidentiality and to withdraw at any time. Written informed consent was obtained from each woman for her participation in the interview, and we assigned her a unique identification number to ensure anonymity. Study participants who were under 18 years of age were considered emancipated minors and allowed to sign the consent form in the absence of their parents/guardians [CitationRef removed]. The study was approved by the Institutional Review Board of Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with reference no. 2018–03-09/AEC/Vol.XII/91.
