: This non-medical study involves human participants (i.e. women with LMHL), and it follows the principles and guidelines defined in the Declaration of Helsinki. This study was approved by the ethics committee of the First Affiliated Hospital Ethics Committee of USTC (2021-KY104). The main ethical considerations regarding this study included: (i) participants were informed on the study’s nature; (ii) participants voluntarily participated in the study and gave informed consent in written; (iii) participants had a right to withdraw at any time knowing it would not cause any harm to them or affect them in any way; and (iv) no information revealing the participant’s identity would be publicized. All methods applied in this study were performed in accordance with the relevant guidelines and regulations.
