: This study used de-identified tumor specimens from human pancreatic cancer patients, and was reviewed by Augusta University Human Research Protection Institutional Review Board (#933148–1). It was determined that this study does not meet the definition of human subject research under the purview of the IRB according to federal regulations, and therefore this study was classified as non-human subject research (case #933148–1). Because only de-identified tumor specimens were used in this study, consent to participate is not applicable.
