: Primary osteosarcoma biopsies of patients and normal bone tissue specimens were collected from the Balgrist Hospital according to the regulations of the Swiss Ethics committee (Kantonale Ethikkommission Zürich, Stampfenbachstrasse 121, 8090 Zürich, Switzerland) and with written consent of the patients.The mice housing conditions and in vivo experimental protocols were in accordance with international and national guidelines and were approved by the local Ethics Committee of the Veterinary Department (Schweizer Bundesamt für Veterinärwesen, Canton of Zurich, Switzerland) under the license number 40/2013.
