Ethics approval and consent to participate
: This study was approved by the ethical review board at Nagoya City University Graduate School of Medical Sciences (approval number: 60-17-0010). Also, administrative permissions to access the clinical/personal patient data used in our research were granted by the ethical review board. All procedures performed in studies involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and national research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki Declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards. For retrospective study, the need for consent to participate was deemed unnecessary according to national regulations, “Ethical Guidelines for Medical and Health Research Involving Human Subjects.” The protocol summary was described on the hospital website, and the subjects were provided with the opportunity to opt-out.
