: Ethical clearance was obtained from the Ethical review committee of Addis Continental Institute of Public Health, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The data used in this study are publicly available, aggregated secondary data and reports which do not have any personal identifying information that can be linked to study participants and found in the measure DHS website [ExternalRef removed]. The authorization for using the data was obtained from the DHS program upon presenting the aims and plan of the study. The report of the Ethiopia mini-DHS 2019 is publicly available but the data set was not previously released. Thus, crude data was used from the report since the results are presented following the appropriate analysis methods. In the DHS surveys informed consent was obtained from each participant.. The study was conducted in accordance to national ethical standards and in accordance to the Declaration of Helsinki.
