Research ethics approvals were obtained by the Institutional Review Board of Collage of Health Science, Addis Ababa University (Ref. n: 0010) and by the Institutional Research Ethics Committee (IREC) of the International Livestock Research Institute (Ref. n: ILRI-IREC2018-09). Informed written consent was obtained from the mothers/caregivers of participant children after necessary explanation on the purpose, procedures, benefits and risks associated with participation in the study.
