: The Family Wellbeing trial received approval from ethics committee of University of Copenhagen on 18<sup>th</sup> October 2019 (KU approval no: 514–0362/19–3000). All methods were carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations. Interview studies with clinicians do not require review by ethics committees in Denmark. All participants gave informed consent to participation and to having their statements recorded, transcribed and used in publication. The study is considered to be of no harm to health care professionals, parents or children in relation to the principles of autonomy and non-maleficence.
