Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Ethical approval for the general population survey was granted by the ethics board of the Medical Faculty, University of Leipzig (248–2007; 140–2009-06072009). Informed consent was obtained from study participants via telephone (verbal) and approved by the aforementioned ethics committee. Ethical approval for the TES sample had been obtained from the IRB of the Protestant and Catholic conference for telephone pastoral care (assembly on 08.10.2012). Participants were informed about data security, anonymity and voluntary participation and gave their consent to participate in an electronic manner at the beginning of the online survey (as approved by the aforementioned IRB).
