Ethics approval and consent to participate
: This study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the University of São Paulo Medical School (CEAPesq # 2.155.088). All participants received initial information regarding the study’s objectives, the voluntary nature of their participation and the confidentiality of their answers. The study involved the assessment of two groups: one involving the psychiatrists from ABP, who answered the questionnaire via the internet and, before completing the questionnaire, they had to agree and confirm electronically their free and informed decision to participate in the survey. The second group consisted of all psychiatrists working at IPq-HCFMUSP who verbally confirmed their consent to participate in the research, this procedure was also approved by the local ethics committee.
