Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Informed written consent is obtained from all parents in the study at screening and baseline by Research Assistants. Children are aged 30–59 months and have a moderate to severe learning disability, therefore consent is only obtained from parents. The study was approved by the London-Camden & Kings Cross Research Ethics Committee (reference: CitationRef removed/LO/0659). Any proposed amendments are submitted to the REC committee and approvals cover all sites.
