: This study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee at the Shanghai Mental Health Centre (SMHC), and carried out in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. Written informed consent was received from subjectswho completed the paper questionnaire, and subjects who participatedinthe face-to-face interview. For participants younger than 18 years, written informed consent from parents or legal guardians was obtained during the submission of paper questionnaire, and the process of the face-to-face interview. For participants joined in the online survey, the online informed consent was obtained by asking participants to respond to a choicequestionwith warning information (Question: “Do you agree to participate in the study?” Warning information: “If you are younger than 18, please make the choice under the supervision of your parents or other legal guardians”. Choices: “A. I agree to participate in the study; B. I do not agree to participate in the study”). If the choice was “B. I do not agree to participate in the study”, the questionnaire would be stopped automatically. For participants who joined in the telephone assessments, the informed consent was provided orally by asking participants if they agreed to accept a telephone assessment on the prodromal symptoms of psychosis, and they were informed that they could stop the assessment atany time. If they refused to complete the telephone assessment, the assessment would be stopped with gratitude for answering the call. In addition, for participants aged under 18 who assentedtojoinin the telephone assessment, they were required to provide thecontactinformationoftheirparentsorotherlegalguardians, and the telephone assessment would start after obtaining the parents’ or legal guardians’ oral informed consent.
