: Ethical Approval and ethical clearance were obtained from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and ethical clearance committee of the University of Gondar. Ref. No. 1914/04/2020 (Name of ethical committee: Dr. Sewbesew Yitayih (sewbesew@gmail.com), Mr. Demeke Demilew (Assistant Pro.)demilew24@gmail.com and Mr.Nigussie Yigzaw (Assistant Pro.)neglideta@yahoo.com). A formal permission letter was obtained and it was taken to the University of Gondar and Felege-Hiwot comprehensive specialized hospital for administrative approval before the data collection. After receiving permission data collection was started. Participants were informed about the aim of study and advantage of study; confidentiality, there is no risk of being participants and they have full rights to stop in the middle of the interview. To ensure the privacy of data was collected from participants in the quiet and secured room by getting permission from the ward head office. The participants have the right not to mention their name and address during the interview. The risk and the benefit of the study were clearly explained to the participants through the information sheet before obtaining their consent. If needed further clarification on the importance of the study was given to the selected participants orally. Written informed consent was obtained from all subjects prior to participation. For those patient participants who cannot read and write, they were assisted to provide their consent through their fingerprint. For the respondents were found with positive for acute stress disorder during the data collection period, linked to psychiatric clinic were done in order to get further evaluation on their condition and it was done for a total of five patients<b>.</b> All methods were carried out in accordance with 1964 Declaration of Helsinki.
