: We obtained ethical approval from the Ethics Committee of the Hamburg Medical Association, Germany, on April 7th, 2015 (approval number PV4763). This ethics committee is available for all studies located in Hamburg (Germany), which involve clinical stakeholders. All methods were carried out and are described in accordance with the <i>Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology</i> (STROBE) checklist for cross-sectional studies (Version 4, 2007).The presented study is not medical research involving human subjects. Our results comprise of the opinions of general practitioners regarding aspects of their practice. No clinical data or assessments were involved in this study. Participation of general practitioners was completely anonymous and we obtained no written informed consent. Informed consent was obtained from all subjects by notifying them that if they returned the completed response form by anonymous mail, we would treat this as informed consent.
